IMPORTANT 

We offer water and electricity hook-ups at each site. Due to county and state health restrictions, dumping of grey or black water onto the ground or river is prohibited. Because of the close proximity to the Provo river, we do not have sewer hook-ups. We do offer a dump station. Please look at Resort Rules for more information.


We want you to make the best memories while camping with us as possible. Reading all of our Resort Rules below will help you be informed and ready for a great experience. Thank you!

Resort Rules


We are excited to welcome you to Provo River Resort and our goal is to provide our guests with a peaceful, relaxing, enjoyable stay on our beautiful property. The following rules are in place to provide this environment to all of our guests. We thank you for adhering to these rules and hope you enjoy every moment you spend here with us at Provo River Resort, and visit us again soon.   • Monthly guests: We offer summer and winter rates. Summer (April 1st - October 31st) is $1,200 each month plus electricity (0.16 per kilowatt hr) and Winter (November 1st - March 31st) is $600 each month plus electricity (0.16 per kilowatt hr). We do not do deposits, payment plans or split payments. You must pay upfront for the months you stay OR you may pay month-to-month but needs to be paid upfront when you make the reservation. Towards the end of the month to extend another month you must get management approval. You can book monthly reservations online on our main page. There is a meter reading charge for those staying weekly or monthly of 0.16 per kilowatt hr.
  • ***To keep up with water demands in the drought season we are in, we ask you to please do not use the potable culinary water for kiddie pools, portable hot tubs, misters, or anything other than use for your trailer grey and black water. Overnight WATER SHUT OFF time is 11:00PM-8:00AM each day to allow our tank time to refill. Please feel free to fill your tanks in the day time to compensate for the evening shut off.***
  • Check-in time is between 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm (5:00 pm Sun). Early check-in before 1:00 pm will be a $25 charge IF available. Please call the office if needing to arrive before 1:00 pm. After hours check-in will be a $50 charge. 
  • Check-out is by noon at the latest. Late checkout or failure to check out will result in a $25 fine.
  • Our cancellation policy is if you cancel within 24 hours of your reserved time there is no refund. If you cancel with 1-7 days notice, you will receive a 50% refund or 100% camp credit towards another stay. If you cancel 8 or more days of notice you will receive a 95% refund. This policy also applies as for checking-in later than your original reservation date.
  • There is no refund when checking-out earlier than your original reservation date(s).
  • If you fail to arrive for your reservation within business hours you will be given a courtesy call. If a late check-in is required a $50 dollar fee will be applied. If we receive no response or a cancellation is needed no refund will be given.
  • Due to county and state health restrictions, dumping of grey or black water onto the ground or river is prohibited. Because of the close proximity to the Provo river, we do not have sewer hook-ups at each site. There is a dump station available by the store for a dump fee of $15 per dump. We also have an outside vendor who comes every Thursday for basic dump for $65; you must let the front desk know and pay in advance on Wednesdays.
  • There is absolutely no allowing of dumping of gray or black water anywhere on the property. It is a $5,000 fine if done. 
  • Picnic tables are only available for riverfront sites. We do not allow moving tables.
  • Firepits are available on first come first serve basis when you check in.
  • Campfires must be in a firepit and distinguished before going to bed and prior to leaving camp.
  • There are no personal portable sheds allowed on the sites.
  • At this time we do not have laundry services available.
  • All dogs must be on a leash at all times when outside of your camper or tent. 
  • Dispose of dog poop in a plastic bag and discard into trash bins, not in the river or surrounding wilderness. If you do not clean up after your dog you will be fined and or be asked to leave and no refund will be given.
  • NO PETS ARE ALLOWED IN THE CABINS. $250 fee if pets are found.
  • Cabin 1: 1 room - 1 queen bed, 2 full size pull out couches. Cabin 2: 2 bedrooms - 1 queen bed, a bunk bed and 1 full bed. Cabin 3: 2 bedrooms - 1 queen bed, 2 full beds. Each cabin has a bathroom, kitchen (with utensils) and hot tub.
  • All trash must be cleaned up and placed in the dumpsters located both at the entrance and south end of the campground. If a dumpster is full, you must find another dumpster with room. Please do not place your trash outside of the dumpsters. 
  • Do not place rugs or mats on the grass for more than 24 hours. If you kill the grass there will be a $200 dollar fine. 
  • All personal possessions should be put away at night to avoid theft and water damage from sprinklers. Provo River Resort is not responsible for any lost, or damaged items. 
  • Thursdays during the day all possessions must be removed from the grass for mowing and maintenance. 
  • This is bear country, DO NOT leave any food or trash outside of your camper. If you are camping in a tent, ALL food AND toiletries must be kept inside your car. 
  • Quiet time is between 11 pm and 7 am. Please do not use generators or play music outside during quiet time. Please refrain from driving in and out of the park within these hours unless of an emergency.
  • The speed limit within the campground is 5mph. Children are playing so please drive slow. If you are found speeding you may be fined or asked to leave. 
  • ATV's may be used going in/out of the campground, however they may not be driven around inside the campground except by management.
  • The Utah Department of Fish and Game requires a fishing permit. No live bait may be used on the Provo river. You can buy a fishing license by downloading the Utah DWR App on your phone.
  • Fireworks, firecrackers, sparklers, and any other similar devices are not permitted in the campground at any time. No firearms and/or BB gun use allowed in the park.
  • Provo River Resort is a family friendly environment. Please refrain from using profanity and keep all alcohol and smoking within your own campsite. Any violation of any federal, state or local law is prohibited. Interfering with the peaceful enjoyment of other campers is prohibited. Any conduct that may reasonably be viewed as threatening to other campers is prohibited. Concerns need to be brought to the attention of management.
  • Guest's license for a RV spot and use of the resort premises shall be limited to private, personal use and no business or commercial activity of any nature shall be conducted thereon. If you are a fishing guide, you may stay at the park, but are not allowed to bring guests in the park.
  • Campers assume the risk of camping in a wilderness setting and assume all risks associated with camping in this environment, including but not limited to, weather risks, falling rocks, wildlife interaction, flooding, mudslides, and acts of God or nature. Provo River Resort assumes no responsibility to maintain insurance on the campground, property brought onto the campground, or the persons using the campground. 
  • Violation of a rule shall be determined by the management of Provo River Resort, exercising discretion in a reasonable manner. 
  • Provo River Resort reserves the right to refuse service to anyone, at any time, for any reason.
  • Provo River Resort reserves the right to evict anyone for any reason with 30 minutes notice. This is not a permanent residence and cannot be used as so. 
  • Each site is allowed 2 tents.
  • Each site is allowed 2 vehicles. Motor homes count as 1 vehicle. Only 1 vehicle can be parked on the site unless both vehicles can be parked on the site and not on the lawn. Each vehicle is required a parking permit and must be picked up at the office at time of booking. Additional vehicles will also need parking permits and can be purchased ($10 a day) at the office when checking-in and must be parked in the above parking. All cars without a visible permit will be booted and charged a $150 removal fee.
